Bumbleroot provides food that tells a story. But we have a story of our own. Our story isn’t a fairy tale. It features real people facing real dilemmas, like how to support a family on less than a dollar a day. This is where our story
starts, with farmers who are trying to cultivate a livelihood in the low-income communities of countries like Zimbabwe and the Philippines. These farmers face incredible adversities. Nevertheless they are dedicated to sustainable and organic
agricultural practices. That makes them the heroes of our story.
Through research, recommendations, and travel, we personally track down these organic farmers and harvesters fighting the good fight. In particular, we seek out those who farm and harvest highly nutritious superfoods, such as the immune-boosting
baobab fruit and the wholesomely hydrating coconut water loaded with reenergizing electrolytes. Using these pure foods, our chefs prepare delicious and wholesome beverages and snacks that are jam-packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals
and formulated to fuel your body.
But at Bumbleroot we’ve been building more than products — we’ve been building a company we love, too. A company that represents the things we care about: top-notch nutrition, sustainable agriculture, fair prices for farmers, and, of course,
scrumptious snacks.
Each day we ask ourselves: Is there a better way to do the things we do? Is there a more nutritious ingredient? Is there packaging available that’s even better for the environment? Are our suppliers being paid fairly?
We’ve been chewing over these questions, and in so doing we’ve realized that there’s a lot of improvements to be made in the way food products are made and food companies are run. We’re not perfect, but we’re working hard to get close. Our
goal is to create a company that we can be proud of so that you can, too.
We want you to feel great knowing that Bumbleroot supersnacks are good for you, the environment, and the farmer. That’s what we call a happy ending.
